A Little bit about Me – Dirtbag
Hey if you’ve stumbled upon this page, awesome! Shows initiative, I like that….. ok but seriously thanks for checking out my stuff haha. My name’s Jordan Reavely and I’ve been making Dirt Bag Gaming a web series for about 2 years at the time of writing this and it’s become a big part of my life now.
I’ve always had this drive of wanting to create something that would entertain and make people laugh, especially after seeing so many fan made videos on places like newgrounds, youtube, etc.
Whenever I would watch one, I always thought to myself, “It would be so cool to make stuff like this”, but starting work at the age of 16 in a new city, I kind of got distracted from my creative side for about 7 years of my life, hell I wasn’t even drawing regularly in the years I was living in Calgary.
But what really made me decide to finally go for it was when I saw the creativity my best friend Sean had with some of his drawings and jokes and it gave me the motivation to finally say “I’m doing this”, and no more “well it would be cool to do this”. Three months later and I put together my first review and the rest writes itself.
As you can tell I enjoy videogames, as far back as I can remember, I’ve had a controller in my hand, loving and enjoying the hobby. Now the love I have for this hobby has grown into something where I’m able to make content out of it that entertains you guys and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Because really, at the end of the day, that’s what is most important to me about creating content, entertaining you guys. Hell it’s the very reason why I’ll pick apart a good game if I find enough weird things about it to poke fun at.
I’ve learned a lot of new skills from making videos and have continuously strived to improve. It’s definitely been a learning experience, but also a fun one, and I hope Dirt Bag Gaming will continue grow so I can share this experience with as many people as possible.
If you made this far, then damn you guys are awesome, have a great day!
